A century-old building in central Athens transformed into a boutique hotel Asomaton ( = without a body ) has been three years in the making. The building was made from wood and stone in the early 1900s, initially to function as a carriage wheel repair shop. It went on to become an elegant townhouse but has been abandoned for the last 20 years, so in close collaboration with the Greek Ministry of Culture this listed building has been transformed into a Boutique Hotel. Historical essence blends with a contemporary outlook; the buildingâs original stone has been carefully refinished, an indoor swimming pool was created; it is located very close to the Acropolis with amazing views from the terrace. New York based Greek artist Philip Tsiaras hosts his pop-artworks onsite. A wide selection of room types means you will be able to find the ideal one for you. Our Compact Rooms come at more economical prices, our Lofts offer a diverse experience of stay, while our spacious Suites will satisfy those seeking for more spacious rooms.
